Why this matters:

HEAVY METAL TESTING
As seen in the test report, no heavy metals have been detected in Nutrova Pea Protein.
Why test for heavy metals?
Heavy metals tend to accumulate in the food chain, and could be an issue in dairy products as well.
We make sure to send every batch of Nutrova Pea Protein Isolate to external labs to validate that the product is free of heavy metals to ensure that the product is absolutely safe.
GLUTEN-FREE
As seen in the report, Nutrova Pea Protein's gluten is below the Limit of Quantification (LOQ), which qualifies it as gluten-free.
We make sure to source gluten-free certified raw material, to ensure it can be consumed by anyone who may have a sensitivity/intolerance to gluten. Thereafter, we also third-party test every batch to confirm its levels of gluten.
AMINO ACID PROFILE
As seen in the report (along with its overall amino acid profile), Nutrova Pea Protein contains 15 grams of BCAAs per 100 grams, almost as much as whey protein.
BCAAs (branched chain amino acids) are especially important for the growth and repair of our muscles. These BCAAs are leucine, isoleucine and valine.
