Vegan diets in India can be nutritious, but still lack some nutrients:
- They're rich in fibre and phytate; although healthy, these block zinc and (the plant-based form of) iron from being easily absorbed
- They contain iodine in low levels, and lack vitamin D3, vitamin B12, taurine, retinol (vitamin A's active form) and vitamin K2
Others are generally low in any diet:
- More than 50% of vitamin C is lost to heat and various processes
- Copper isn’t efficiently absorbed by the body
Nutrova Formula V provides these nutrients in vegan-friendly and bioavailable forms, and in optimal doses. It also provides the powerful antioxidant benefits of tocotrienol-rich vitamin E and natural lycopene (from tomatoes).
Yes; Nutrova Formula V helps optimise the health of individuals who follow a vegan diet. It's also helpful for vegetarians who consume limited amounts of dairy products. However, pregnant or lactating women, people with medical conditions or people on chronic medication should first consult their doctors.
We recommend taking Nutrova Formula V along with or just after a meal to maximise absorption of nutrients.
Yes, all our products are designed to work well both individually and together, with one exception: we wouldn’t recommend taking it with Nutrova Formula O, since it’s a similar formula, except it’s been optimised for diets containing dairy and/or meat.

This product has been designed keeping in mind the nutrient intakes of individuals in India who follow vegan diets, or vegetarian diets with very low dairy consumption. Our goal with this product is to provide nutrients at doses that fill in the gaps while making sure we avoid excess intake.
We have also made sure that every nutrient is in its most bioavailable (easy-to-absorb) and effective form. For example, the product contains zinc monomethionine (a superior form of zinc), iron bisglycinate (an easy-to-absorb form of iron that’s light on the stomach), and tocotrienol-rich vitamin E, all of which are rarely found in multivitamins.
We recommended consuming it daily for at least 2 to ideally 4 months. After that, the continuation is entirely up to you. It’s perfectly safe to consume for any duration you choose, the same way you would consume any multivitamin.
